Every year, the Classy Closets Design of the Year contest gives us a chance to pause and appreciate what makes our brand truly special, the talent, creativity, and dedication behind every custom space we create. The 2025 contest raised the bar yet again, with stunning submissions from designers across the country and a record number of votes from our community.
This year’s competition was one of our closest races to date. The level of design, attention to detail, and overall execution across all entries made choosing a winner no easy task. From concept to installation to final photography, each project represented the very best of what Classy Closets stands for: thoughtful design, functional beauty, and spaces tailored to real life.

A Showcase of Exceptional Design
One of the most exciting parts of the Design of the Year contest is seeing the wide range of spaces represented. This year’s entries showcased just how versatile custom storage can be. From elevated closets and beautifully organized pantries to multifunctional living spaces, each project told a unique story.
Some designs focused on luxury and elegance, using rich finishes, layered lighting, and refined details to create a boutique-style experience. Runner-Up: Elevated Elegance
We’re thrilled to recognize our 2025 runner-up, Carolyn Garliepp of Classy Closets Tucson, for her stunning design, Elevated Elegance.
True to its name, this project stood out for its refined style and thoughtful details. The space felt polished and intentional, with a seamless blend of form and function. Every element worked together to create a calm, elevated environment that feels both luxurious and livable.
Elevated Elegance captured the attention of voters with its sophisticated design choices and impeccable execution. It’s a beautiful example of how custom storage can feel aspirational without sacrificing practicality. Design of the Year Winner: The Provisions Place
Taking the top honor for 2025 is Haley Butter of Classy Closets Grapevine (Dallas Fortworth), with her winning design, The Provisions Place.
This project resonated strongly with voters and judges alike, and for good reason. The Provisions Place reimagined what a functional space can be, transforming it into something both visually striking and incredibly useful. The design showcased smart planning, creative use of space, and an inviting aesthetic that makes organization feel effortless.
What set this design apart was its ability to balance beauty and purpose so seamlessly. Every detail felt intentional, creating a space that not only looks impressive but also supports everyday living in a meaningful way. The Provisions Place is a testament to the power of thoughtful design and the impact it can have on how a home is experienced.
